So we aren’t all working from home forever? Probably not.
It seems so natural. You arrive at work during COVID-19. You have your temperature checked on the way in the door. You learn that you don’t have a fever, and you move forward with greater confidence that you don’t have COVID-19.
The longer we live with the COVID-19, the more data there are to navigate. This is a mixed blessing: there has never been more information available, and it can be harder than ever to know which data matter most.
We can’t all work from home forever, though one could be forgiven for trying right now. The steep rise in new cases of COVID-19 nationally is driven by significant growth in new cases or positive test rates in a majority of states. Rates of transmission indicate that this upward trend is likely to continue. Yet the office awaits in some shape or form for most of us who have yet to return.
